Dill's GA Imp (Dill's BF Genuine Article *B x Dill's XM Pansy *M) was way out in Oklahoma and was to be flown in when our window to fly her closed due to the heat embargo, so we found a ground transport. She is now home and we are really enjoying getting to know her.

This past Thursday, we traveled 15 hours round trip down south to pick up our last little doeling, Bayou Country CAS Apple (MCH/CH Piddlin' Acres Bobby's Cassanova *S EX90 x Lost Valley HLB Nokia), and she and Imp have become great buddies, so that worked out perfectly.

We can't wait to see what this two girls do for us here.

OK, that Imp is the prettiest goat I've ever seen!! I have ND's but only a few and nothing with colouring like that. Let's figure out how to get a baby from her into Canada! When will you be breeding her? She's gorgeous.

Thank you. She is only 3 months old, so we won't be breeding her until 2013.

I flew a buckling out to California back in March and total crate, health certificate and air fare was less than $300 via Delta. The airfare for Imp from Oklahoma to Alabama was $208 by American Airlines, but that did not include the crate and health certificates. Since we ended up having to use ground transport due to it being too hot to fly her, then it cost $150 for that. So, save your money. It is doable. :)

Yeah, freight wise it's manageable, it's the getting one into Canada that is the problem. I think a buck or wether would be easier than a doe, I looked it up a while ago and there are hoops to be jumped through. It's too bad because you'all have some pretty goaties and I would love to get my hands on some. We'll see, I'll be watching for your breeding thread. I have just acquired a pretty little mini fainter, who is only four months old so won't be bred till next year. Waiting is hard. :)
