Fly / Skitter Repellents ...

Now that its getting warmer the skitters and "biting flies/insects" are out in full force and I was wondering what people use on their horses ?.We have swamp land ..Any homemade receipes?

I have found that a mix of skin so soft bath oil & water make a greqat fly & bug spray. I use 2 cups SSS & 4 cups water. Plus the SSS is great for their skin & coat. And it smells good

Um, I spray with Absorbine Fly Spray in the black bottle, any of those citronella sprays don't seem to work at all. It's really buggy out and the absorbine works like a charm.
