Getting another pair of kids!

I recently decided to get another ND... so, placed a deposit on a pretty doeling. Then, the breeder offered me her twin, a buck, as a wether. Apparently no one has been interested in him, and I just keep them as pets. (I currently have two ND wethers.) Just don't tell my husband TWO are arriving... Ha!

My new kids arrived! Umm...I thought they would be a little bigger. They are tiny! I guess I am forgetting I brought my other boys home later. Now I am a little nervous... They seem kinda lean. They also were not handled as much. They are VERY skittish. I've got some work to do!

That's the fun of owning goats. Knowing that the care you give them directly affects their well being and your thanks is when you have one that is challenging absolutely thrive and turn out to be a nice specimen of what it was bred for.
