Hi, I banded my two boys 1 week and 2 days ago. Everything is looking as it should, no swelling or redness or anything. I'm just curious if it would be beneficial to apply a wound care ointment or spray just to keep infection out. Specifically maybe Vetericyn and if so, what particular type?

Blue kote works well for it.

If you have a bunch of flies and other biting insects, a repellent can be helpful.
But, you shouldn't need any wound care ointment.
I think the blue kote helps repel insects.
