Goat Beard size

My buck is 9 months old and starting to show a bit of a black/tan beard. My question is to when it will become bigger, silly question it may be but…more of a curiosity thing, wanting to know what others experiences were with their bucks

Depends on breed and age. Have patience, it's starting. Most won't show a full one until 2+. The shoulder and full neck are generally closer to 3 for full effect. Plus genetically some individuals are more/less endowed.

He’s a Nigerian dwarf, didn’t get to see much of a beard on his daddy, but then again his dad is only just now about to hit 2yrs (dad was 10 months old when Enzo, my buck, was born)
