A couple weeks ago one of our Saanen does couldn't stand or walk. We called the vet and he gave her calcium shot and excenel shot. We penned her by herself, supplied her with sodium bicarb and minerals and gave her asprin. Now she can ALMOST stand up without help. Now yesterday another doe showed the same symptoms, she can not stand, temp is normal, eating a little, gums and lower eyelid are pale pink. We are thinking worms. Also the only thing we have changed in the last month or 2 is that their water comes thru the water softener. Could this effect their health also?
