Goat herd reduction

I'm starting this thread to help out a friend. I'll post info as I get it & will either pass questions & answers back & forth or will put you in touch.
Located between Petersburg & Blackstone VA.

1 registered Boer billy
2 bucklings
4 year old billy
6 pregnant does

This is the boer

I'm going over Sat to get pictures of everyone & more info.

So she's selling the entire herd? Or ones in list are part of the herd?

Only part of the herd.
I'll get details Sat, but I think she wants to avoid any babies, so the males & pregnant ones are going.

Hmmm I may be interested in a pregnant doe or two as well as possibly a buck.

Just got back from taking pictures. I'm going to post a bunch - then go back & add notes.

These 1st 2 fellas are separate from the rest of the herd - so NOT "responsible" for any of the pregnant does.
BUT, as far as I know, they were born here & show how nicely the older bucks can produce color

Both under 1yr old boers.

These 2 fellas are with the herd & one or the other is the sire of any upcoming kids - which we think will arrive in Feb.

Murry, 3yrs old, sired several of the goats in the background of the picts

Oreo. 5yr old registered, sire of several of the goats in the background. I thought I had a better pict of him. He was turning to come see if I had treats so looks a little humped up, but he's really a very handsome fella!
