We need to build a shed for the goats for the winter and I was wondering if anyone else has put linoleum on the floor of the shed. We have to have a floor because we have water that flows and gets the ground all wet from the snow. I have linoleum in the chicken coop and it's sooo easy to clean, wondering if that would work the same for goats. Would it hurt there knees?

I don't see why it would hurt as long as it doesn't crack in the winter time. Might be slippery but I'm assuming you are putting some type of bedding down on top of it. I don't see why it would be any harder on knees than a wood or cement surface.

The other option are the thick horse mats cut to size. It would be thicker and not quite as slippery. Then you could pull them out to thoroughly clean them if it gets bad. Not sure about urine getting under the mats and ruining the wood though.
