We are starting out with a trio of milking goats, and I am hoping to feed them mainly on pasture, and would like to set up smaller areas for them to graze and rotate them through the different areas so they do not over graze any of the field! If I were to rotate pastures every week or so, how big should my areas be? I am a goat newbie, up until now I have had chickens/ducks/pigs/rabbits, so I have no real reference for grazing animals!

I am just getting started with goats as well. Id say set up an area maybe 25 by 25 and see how long it takes them to eat it. If they eat it really fast, then next time you set it up make it bigger. It all depends on how much there is to eat and how fast/ much your goats will eat.
