Goat with ear infection

I have a doe that recently started hanging one ear down and shakes her head occasionally. I think it is an ear infection. I have dealt with many dogs with ear infections and have some rinse for dogs. Do goats need something special or can I use the same ear rinse solution for her?

Is it an infection or eat mites? You may want to try and swab it and see what you get.

Sound a lot like ear mites to me also.
Is the any crustyness inside the ear? If so the chances are goo that the goat has ear mites.
You can put a few drops of Sweet Oil, Mineral Oil, Vegetable Oil or Olive Oil into the ear and canal the will kill the mite in most cases and will also loosen the crust in the ear.
