When I worked for a large school district my boss and his boss decided one Christmas that instead of buying all the employees a "trinket" gift that they would buy a goat through Heifer International in our name. Pretty cool.

My sister went to Turkey on a school geography trip and gave her hostess some Goat milk soap that I made. The hostess was just shocked that milk was used for soap and asked how many goats I had. My sister said, about 15...(40 now) and the hostess replied "oh, she must be very rich" . I told my sister that " no, I am very poor as I have to feed 15 goats."
