We had a lot of rain in the spring and then a few weeks of HOT. So the wash next to the house is full of nice weeds and things. The goats have been spending lots of time in there brousing. We had some heavy rain on Monday and the wash was a running river. The big goats just sloshed through. Some of the babies got seperated when they couldn't cross. I was out keeping an eye on everybody so I thought I would get some pictures.

MIne aren't too wimpy, they would be out checking things out, heck they even stand out in the rain and run around in the snow. There faorite is a windy stormy day with leaves blowing out of the trees, they run around like children chasing butterflies. They are funny to watch. Even some rain doesn't scare them fromt those tasty leaves. Alot of rain, on the other hand, sends them running for shelter. They aren't cattle after all.

Ours were standing out in the rain (a thunderstorm) yesterday and they acted like it was the best thing ever. Probably because it's been pushing 100 degrees here for the past week or so.
