Herd Master
Great pic there! There are a few things to know about sheep and goats together that ya may not know. They have different dietary needs, and there are minerals, namely copper, that sheep can't have, but goats have to have. It is toxic to sheep. So, just be careful to read feed bags to see what they contain. Also, they would be happier for ya to add another of each when ya are able. Welcome from NW Mississippi!.. and the info in the Forums and Threads will really help ya on your Journey... again...
Actually, sheep DO need copper. Just not in the amounts that goats need and tolerate it. Copper can also be toxic to goats if fed in high enough amounts.
