Overrun with beasties
We aren't going to be able to take our steer this week to be butchered. I know they are booked months in advance so if anybody local wants my spot at Horsts Meats in Hagerstown MD for this week you can have it. No charge. Just get in touch with me, I'll call Horst and we'll put the spot in your name instead of mine.
Drop off is in Hagerstown on Tues all day or Wed before 10am. They are a local Mennonite butcher and our local USDA rep is using them as a "This is how you should run a small butchering facility" for a national article. They are clean, polite, treat the animals well, and reasonably priced. We use them for all our off site butchering.
Anyway, just wanted to offer in case anyone could use it.
