I posted a couple of weeks ago about a sheep with the bloat. I took her to the vet and he said it was "grain poisioning" - Well, he told me to get her up every couple of hours and give her shots of vit. B and and antibiotic. Also gave probiotic and med that worked like pepto bysmol. She has made a great recovery, but now she is loosing ALL of her hair. Her sister is loosing hair and has a pretty light white coat below. Korie has NO hair underneath. I can see maybe 3 or 4 ticks but the skin is in good shape and not inflamed or infected. Is this normal????

I have hair sheep and they do not lose all their hair. So I am thinking something else is going on

I would think most likely, she had a big fever with the "grain poisoning", hence the antibiotics. Usually if sheep get sick enough with big enough fever, they will get "wools slip". The sicker they are, the worse the wool slip!

Sounds like wool slip. It will be a couple months before she has much coat back. If she's losing all her hair you'll need to give her protection from the sun, the wind, the cold/heat. Making sure she has good shelter (barn or shed) that she can access at all times.
