Ok Mike...I have boer goats with relatively short teats, like all boer goats, Occasionally I want to milk one for one reason or another, extra colostrum harvest comes to mind. Would your contraption handle the shorter teat as efficiently as it handles dairy goat teats, that are designed to be milked?

Not to be a jerk or whatever, but...this is clearly an ad.

I can understand wanting to advertise your milker on this website, and generating advertising money -- ultimately -- is why this forum was created..

What I'd suggest is contacting the site's owner for a chat about some *real* paid advertising on BYH..

Check out the backyard chickens forum.. Look in the upper right, just above the forum index... You'll see ads for Meyer hatchery...backyard poultry magazine...HenSavers...etc. Those are basically "sponsors" of BYC.

As you'll notice, the upper right adspace on THIS forum is an adbot from google.. Right now, the adbots I'm seeing are for clipart of sheep and something about the comfort of dairy cows...obviously, the targetting system isn't great! Nobody likes adbots anyway..

Soooo, why isn't there an ad up there for The Henry Milker?!? Sounds like a win/win to me..

Also, bear in mind that the alternative is basically getting threads closed left and right for spamming, which probably won't do much to build much good-will toward the brand. :/

Just sayin'.

:)

Just move the thread to "buy-sell-trade" and let's move on. HM, you can contact a moderator by hitting "report" and typing in the reason...just ask them to move the thread to the correct section.
