Happy 4th of July to you too :)

I'm not looking forward to fireworks tonight. They probably wont start till after DS's bedtime and then I'll get stuck with a very cranky baby.

He won't sleep through them then?

That's one nice thing about living in the country, it's quite. One of the neighbors gets the permits and puts on a big firework display each year on the 3rd. Last year we watched them from our yard and last night the girls watched some of them.

Nope, this little guy wont sleep through anything. Whispering in the same room he's sleeping in wakes him up  Such a sensitive child in a family of loudmouths

Aww must be nice, I'm jealous. From where we are we get the fireworks from Disneyland, Knott's Berry Farm and a military base. Not to mention the neighborhood kids.

At least you don't have to fight the crowds to see the fireworks! Or drive home afterward.

Happy 4th everybody!

Forgot the 4th! Was wondering why the red dog was being so clingy, growly and barking for what seemed like no reason. Figured it out last night when I heard fire works in the distance!
She thinks theres hunting going on and we should go see what they got!

That's funny... I woke in the middle of the night to strange noises in our bedroom (after watching a suspenseful movie right before going to bed :barnie) and saw this big dark shadow right next to my bed!!! It was my German Shepherd mix who is terrified of thunderstorms and fireworks. He'd snuck in from outside to be near me. Poor baby.
