He has 9 lambs, $750. 4-5 ewes. $90 each. But 4.5 hours away.

You want to know if they are purebred BD Southdown, right? I see one in the first picture that **might** be, but other than that, they all look like crossbreds to me.

Yes, Babydoll is what I'm wondering. That wool looked totally wrong to me for lambs of Dolls, legs and faces weren't totally right, either.
Guess I will be passing on these mutts.

I just wanted to be 100% sure.
I really want to expand my flock, thinking of banding the ram lamb I have and just keeping him for grass eating. I may be picking up a bunch of pallets next weekend. Will be using them to make a permanent pen for the pony and then lock the sheep in with him. Two sheep are for sure fat, other old ewe isn't fat yet, but I guess I finally see they aren't thin. I'll put up hot wire in special areas so the sheep will have safe areas from the pony.


Anyone have Doll ewe lambs for sale 0-4 hours from Culpeper, VA for sale? Prefer less than $500, especially if I have to travel far for her/them.

No, none of them look pure. They look crossed with a Shetland or Finn if anything. The three on the right though in the first pic look like our Babydoll Southdown x Montadale crosses.
