PTO should all be the same, from equipment to tractor. Like any electric cords plug into
any electric outlet, doesn't matter who made it. Tractors have been standardized to be
interchangable for many years, you should have no problem hitching any equipment to
a modern (after 1940) tractor.

More important is does the tractor have enough horsepower to manage the piece
of equipment? I am not familiar with your models named, can't help you there. I do
know that sometimes an old tractor may be tired, not have enough power to manage
equipment that it might originally have done fine with. So keep that in mind too.

I would talk with the tractor dealerships, see what the various HP the models have,
see if the tractor models can manage the equipment you have in mind. You want
to have power left over when hitched, not be at the tractor's HP limit on flat, hard ground.

Something else to think on doing hay, is how close is the tractor dealer, baler dealer, to
get parts from? You can get a great price on a tractor or machinery, then not be able
to get it fixed in a hurry with no dealer within a 100 miles. Breakdowns ALWAYS happen
when you are needing machines to perform to get the crop in ahead of weather! So
check out dealer locations when shopping for machinery.

Yes both should be able to run a standard square bailer. The issue is finding a correctly sized hay cutter. To big will flip a tractor.
