Okay, around here, in Mississippi... We can only get brown hay. I have never seen green hay in any feed store around here. And I am pretty sure we only use Bermuda as our hay... Will this be okay for the rabbits?

As long as the hay smells sweet and is not moldy I think you will be okay. I feed mine a fescue hay and have had no complaints from the rabbits. I'd always heard that as long as it was a horse quality hay you're okay. If you'd feed it to a horse, than it was okay for a rabbit.

We've fed alfalfa in the past w/o any problems.
I have read here that for does & growing bunnies it's fine, but not to give it to bucks or adult does who you don't plan on breeding.

Rabbit pellets are made with alfalfa. We feed alfalfa hay to our rabbits all the time. Its all that is grown here.

Nope, not true. They eat primarily alfalfa, it is what pellets are made of.
