Okay...so its 98 degrees here in northern Maine (unheard of in Sept). My goats should be lethargic but no... the milker has been upping her milk and today she was in a standing heat!
Good thing I have a buck on site. Its too hot to go anywhere!

you think that's bad!! it is been 100+ everyday for the past few months with the heat index hitting 120 on some days! I can't wait for 2 digit temperatures!! although today wasn't to bad it was only 103 so I could do some gardening.

I live in Oklahoma and it is hot here from June to today!!

My goats have a lot of shade trees and shady loafing areas, but in the heat of the day, 105, they are laying in the sun!!

They seem to enjoy the heat!!

I just got an automatic waterer that keeps fresh water for them all the time, no more carrying water in buckets, although I do keep one full for backup just in case (murphy's law)
