Hello.
I've been getting so much useful advice just from reading posts on this site. You guys are great!
I moved away from the city late last summer, and have been trying to establish a small farm/homestead on 5 acres of hilly wooded land in Northern VA.
So far we have turkeys, chickens, rabbits, and goats.
(i would put photos of my goats here to introduce them, but hmmmm don't seem to have an insert image without needing a url?) I have 2 Nigerian Dwarf does, one of which is pregnant, and a young Alpine doe.

I may be over my head with having goats already, as I have a lot to learn. So I'm really thankful for this site where people share so much information and experience.

<---- my profile photo is of Selma, an older doe who I am trying to nurse back to health.
Now at least you see one of my girls. She is the sweetest goat and always comes up to me and like to be petted and scratched.

Cute!! Also you have to have a certain number of posts to insert an image.

Welcome from one newbie to another!!! I have lots to learn and this seems like a great place to do so.
