Hi everyone! I just wanted to drop by and introduce myself. I am the oldest of a large family. We live on a small farm in Central Florida, near Gainesville. I am the farm manager/ vet/ and part-time milker. My younger siblings all help too; some more, some less. We have a couple of cows and goats, a sheep, two horses, a couple dogs, ducks, one chicken, and a cat. (We moved not too long ago, and sold off most of our poultry then...)
Since we try to keep our farm natural and inexpensive, I have had to learn quite a bit about natural remedies for common illnesses and injuries.
I have recently started a small business making and selling custom goat and dog sweaters. Please visit my Etsy shop ( https://www.etsy.com/shop/ChickenScrapsShop ) or eBay listings ( http://www.ebay.com/sch/jfawbles/m.html?_nkw=&_armrs=1&_from=&_ipg=&_trksid=p3984.m1555.l2649 )
I post farm news and educational videos/ articles on my blog at http://mychickenscraps.blogspot.com/
I'm looking forward to learning more and more with BYH!

Here's another howdy and welcome from the Great Lone Star State!

Sounds like you keep yourself might busy so feel free to sit a spell, put your feet up and enjoy that there iced tea. I think we all speak pretty much the same language, love of animals and wanting the best for each doggone critter. Watch out for that pup over there, he's a teething and grabs onto just about anything. He's a good boy, just a tad mouthy these days.

Welcome from Texas. Love the horse in your avatar!!
Thank you, I really like him too! He's Jesse el Rubio, a registered Paso Fino. I bred my mare to him in May, so we should have a baby next spring!
