Hello From Indiana

Hello everyone my name is Roger. I live in Huntertown, Indiana which is just north of Fort Wayne. Kim Roll told me about this site a while ago and I have been reading everything for a couple months but decided to join finally. We have been raising boer goats since the fall of 09. I got the goats for my nieces 4-H projects. We did not plan on keeping more then the 2 does we got from Kim but now have 6 Adults and 3 doelings, plus a buck. I am at my limit so we will have to start selling some if we want to keep anymore. This should be enough for my nieces to pick their 4-H kids and me to sell a few and finally start getting money back out of these goats. So far I have not made a dime since all the kids have been going to projects. I pay for the goats and feed then when my nieces sell them in the 4-H auction their money is put into their savings accounts for college. I hope to get to know everyone and talk goats.

Thank you for all the warm welcome. Hopefully I will be able to help some people out but I will probably have alot of questions since I am still new at it and learning. I will try to get some pictures up soon of atleast some of my goats.
