Exploring the pasture
Hi all. I'm a newbie to this site, but have been a goat person for over two years now. I have seven all together, six does and one wether. They are mixes of Nigerian Dwarf, Pygmy, and possibly Nubian. They were older gals when I got them and quite timid, but now are very loving and the minute I open the back door, my goats, chickens, and guard dog all start calling me! We also have six Rhode Island Red Chickens and three olive-egger chickens, for a total of 9 chickens and I frequent BYC daily. We also have six dogs and at last count 18 cats (I'm trying to find some new homes for those!). I think this site is going to be very interesting and look forward to reading all the information contained here.
