Thanks to all...figured I'd give this a go and pester folks when I need some advice on the small critters, was in the FFA in high school, and ran cattle, pigs and horses growing up, but that was close to 30 years ago, just getting back into all of it, after many years in the military.
So please... be gentle...

Funny how we circle back around to where we started from isn't it? I grew up mostly in Houston, Tx and was one of the first girls in FFA. I guess we broke the manure glass ceiling. Haha.

How are you doing in that there big desert? Got water? I grew up in So Cal and briefly visited the Mohave... hot and dry but like any place else there are good spots and not so good spots. Some of us in Texas think we have it hot, but I betcha you have us beat!
