Hello from upstate NY (I can see Canada from my place of employment!) I am a member of BYC and have had chickens for just over a year, last week me and my husband added to our mini farm and purchased a breeding Old Spot cross sow, a pygmy goat, and a small hair sheep of unknown breeding.

I was born in Rochester but I'm in CT now. You've got my upstatedness beat too!
We visited Malone NY last summer. That's as far north in NY as I've been.

Tug Hill is Upstate..... But when you can actually SEE Canada... that is Way-Upstate !!
