Hi everyone! I've been lurking on here for a few months and I thought I should say hi.

I live near Burlington, VT on my family's farm where we raise Border Leicester sheep. We also have a small (about 12) flock of commercial sheep, 3 miniature horses, 6 llamas, 1 goat, chickens, ducks, turkeys, 4 Border Collies and a couple cats.

Shadow (17 years old). He, along with his friend Rikki, watches out for the lambs while they are on pasture.

Beautiful pics. Almost makes me want to move to Vermont. Then I think of the snow. We used to go to Mt. Tom when we were kids. Cool place.

Thankfully there is no snow in our area yet. I don't mind the snow, but, due to having to trudge through it to feed animals and not being a skier/snowboarder, I am happy when we don't get a lot.

Thanks! I'm actually one of the children as well. :) There are 6 of us. I am the oldest still at home (22). We don't do a ton of showing. My youngest sister (she is not in 4-H) is able to show in the 4-H/youth shows. We also show in the open shows.

:welcome from Cambridge VT. Thanks for sharing the pics, nice animals. No we don't want snow yet in Vermont, this weather has been so NICE this winter, makes up for the crappy rainy year.
