Hey all! I am a long-time member of BYC, but thought I'd pop over here since now I have my horse back!

I will probably be asking questions from time to time, since I believe myself to be green. I don't know enough info NOT to get into trouble, so please be kind! I know a bit, but not enough.

I know chickens though... ;)

Hi RoPo!

Welcome to "the other side"!

I followed your thread on Max - never posted because there were so many already saying what I was thinking.

I am really really happy you got him back and wish you the best of luck.

Hey RoPo! How's Max? I'd love to check but seems BYC is "doing maintenance". So here I sit needing to check my PM's and not so I'm surfing and eating trail mix instead! LOL!

Thanks for the warm welcome!

Max is doing great! We've started riding him around the arena. I'm thoroughly enjoying him and everything about him.

I'm still cleaning up some bumps, scrapes and bruises he got from the trip to the stockyards. One of the cuts just won't seem to heal, but it's alot better than it was.

I'm alot more confident in my abilities than I was at my aunt's place...don't know why that is? Still can't get my butt into the saddle without someone holding onto the other side, but I have a feeling adding the breast plate will help with that fear of the saddle slipping too far to the side (thanks to some awesome ideas on here!)
