HELP! 3 month old billy ran away!!

Due to being distrcted when changing bedding, our little billy bolted and ran up the creek bank and is not no where to be found. He hasn't been with us long so i'm not sure he knows how to come back.

We've checked all the area around us and thought maybe he was hiding out until nighttime before coming out. Woods, farm pastures and very few houses around us.

Does he come back when he hears the other billys and does?

Is there a trick to tracking a lost goat?

I feel soo bad -he's out there because of our error and i just have a really bad feeling about this.
HELP!
 
Make sure you let the neighbors know he is running loose. If they are good neighbors they will keep an eye out for him too. Otherwise, I don't know.
 
Hopefully he'll hear your other goats and come back to their voices. I know if it were my goats all I'd have to do was get out the grain can and shake it. They'd be back in a flash. Let us know if your little guy comes back.
 
Do you feed at a regular time? It only takes a few days for the goats to figure out when feeding time is and learn how to play trample the feeder. I had a fairly new goat get out not long ago and she was back at feeding time.

WE FOUND HIM !! YIPPEE!!!
He was hiding out in the neighbors scrub trees about 2 miles away. He was all tucked under a bramble bush when they spotted him and me and about ten other folks just corraled him into a circle.
He's still healthy and no marks or cuts, just shaking and tired.
He's home now resting in his igloo with one of the other wethers...now i can sleep better not worrying about him
