We only have two 5 month old goats and the last few days it has been around 0 degrees. They have been doing fine. Last night it got down to -16 and we lost power. Their heat lamp went out and water froze. We now have power back but it's -30 with wind chill. They have an enclosure and wind block .... I'm worried about them though and wasn't sure if I should bring them inside or not. I don't want to put them through such harsh weather if they can't handle it, but also don't want them to acclimate to the warm house either. What should I do?!

Leave them where they are. Give extra bedding for warmth and make sure they have plenty of hay. Check water often. In the severe cold animals dehydrate very quickly. It is normal for them to fluff, this is how they keep warm.
Bringing them in can cause issues... huge temp difference and they could end up with pneumonia.
As long as they are active and eating they should be fine.

Thank you so much! They have a heated water bucket, it just had froze when we lost power overnight. They followed us in for about 10 mins but our house is still less than 50 degrees. Hopefully they don't get pneumonia.
