I've been reading here that the pretty wood hutches are maybe not the best idea. Rats. Those would make it much simpler!
So here's what we're looking at. We want to adopt 2 or 3 rabbits as pets (We can find plenty of bonded pairs at the rabbit rescues in our area.) So we'll have 2 or 3, medium to large (probably not giant) rabbits out on our 2nd story deck. It gets hot and humid here (85-95*) May through September, although the deck is partially shaded. I'd like something that is fairly easy to maintain and clean and won't fall apart in the rain or be chewed up in a month.
We have a large wire cage already, but it's obviously not enough shelter for outdoors. We're pretty handy with building, so we could make something ourselves, but we have saved up enough to buy something modest.
Any ideas? Photos or links for ideas would be great!
