Last week I was feeding my rabbits and noticed my buck had his head at a weird angle, didn't think much about it. It seems to be getting worse. I included a picture. Now his head is at almost a 90 degree angle of where it normally is. He hasn't been eating, drinking or pooping as much as he usually does. Did he have a stroke or something? Do I need to put him down or is there something I can do for him?
Thanks
Myke

I posted something similiar to this a few days ago. Just to get opinions, I had already decided I couldn't afford a vet, and I didn't want to put him down. After checking to the best of my ability and having a friend check for a ear infection or ear mites and seeing no signs. I went on ahead and tried the Ivomec suggestion on http://www.barbibrownsbunnies.com/ecuniculi.htm

It has only been a few days. However, I have noticed his head is not as tilted as bad as before. I'm not recommending that you diagnose/treat yourself. All the sites I have read, have said to take it to the vet. For me, my options were to put it down, or try a remedy I saw online. I figured, well if it doesn't work it doesn't work. If it kills him, I was gonna have to put him down anyways. If it works GREAT! It is said it can take several days/weeks to improve and that it might not completely straighten out.

Please keep in mind, my bunny is only 6weeks old. I have him separated from the other kits and mother. He eat and drinks just find. He can move around with a little limitation but he doesn't hop in circles or flip. He's just a bit slower than the other kits. I also just recently posted asking peoples opinions on using a cattle de-wormer on a rabbit. I am just a beginner no a expert, and wanted to offer my opinion on the situation.

There are few meds out there specifically for rabbits. I used meds that were for chickens and pigs. And used the chicken dose.
