* I know mostly bout goats after working with them 13+ years... but recently acquired sheep**
I have a question, I personally don't know a lot about sheep, I got 2 recently(2 or 3 months) from some one who was giving them up ( An East Friesian Ewe, and A Navajo Ewe) The Navajo had lambed a few months before we got her.But the gal said there was a chance that the fresian was bred( she knew less than me about sheep). I went out today, and noticed her bag was filling, and she looked a little pinker and some what swollen back there. I personal thought she wasn't bred, and just getting fat. Now I'm starting to double think that. I have everything needed for lambing and kidding, but just curious if my hunch was wrong and that she is bred and due any day/ week.
according to the gal, she is 4 or 5 years old, has had live twins with no issues of prolapsing or needing help really, and won't (for the most part) not accept her lambs. So that puts me a little at ease, but any opinions, information, ect would be great.
