i had two rabbits, brother and sister. The brother just died today. I am really worried about the sister, since we keep them outside and they both were very social. What should I do?? Thanks for your advice.

Then I would try to make her enclosure safer and more predator proof or move her inside. Because now the racoon knows that there is one more in there, he's bound to come back to get her.

We did that the last time, we are considering not keeping her in the her pen, a year ago the male was bitten by a raccoon but I was able to scare the raccoon away. I am more worried about her being alone, without her brother.

i am trying to think of a way to say this without sounding like a smarta--. secure the pen first because it won't matter if she is lonesome if she is dead because the raccoon killed her. and it will be back now that it knows where she is. after she is safe and secure then work on getting her a new friend but be sure to introduce them slowly.

Kay, we lock her in her hutch at night, we only let her run around during the day and her hutch is in the pen. But introduce a new rabbit slowly, does age matter?
