These were taken yesterday evening. My buck was with them starting Nov 2nd so I come up with 153 days to be April 2nd....if they took that day that is the soonest they would kid. My buck has since passed away and not sure why :(

Her whole private area looks different to me then last years pics. Is this the plug thingy, in this pic that I hear people talk about? How soon do they loose that usually before birthing?

Looks like she has a bag starting this time to me?

The first girl is looking like she is building an udder. The other one looks like she either has a really good rumen going or may be pregnant but no udder development. So maybe, maybe not. Can't say for sure.

Wow she looks really different from when you bought her. You did a great job.I would almost bet she goes at the end of the week but I could be wrong. Good luck.

Thank you! She does I think they were all walking skeletons and very lucky to be alive. Just took food :) I got all 3 in that pic the same day.

The first day buck was in with them was Nov 2nd so I get a due date of April 2nd at being the earliest possible. Is that right? What are the chances she got pregnant the very first day? Can't they go into labor week before or after too?

The chances of her getting pregnant on the very first try are VERY good. Mama, my queen, got pregnant by backing her big behind up to the gate and letting a buck that she picked out, have his way with her! All my does prior to moving to Texas took 10 minutes in the driveway and we got back in the truck and drove home 20 minutes later!

I am sure my does pen and buck pen are on opposite sides of the back yard which is pretty big. Yeah she sure is getting very round and wide lol. Her bag seems bigger to.

This poor girl has a limp. I think I started another thread about it.

I have been cleaning out that foot every other day or two and putting copper tox on it for a while no but not sure it is helping. I may have to do something else. I wanted it healed up before she had her kids.

I did all her feet and sprayed them all same with my other does but this one hoove urrgh not sure what is wrong. I do see rot and thrush though and I keep cutting that all back and treating the hoove.

When they are that big, it can take a lot longer for the hoof to heal up. You might start her on some PEN G for about 10 days. Last year, Mama, my doe, got hoof rot when she was 4 weeks away from her due date. It took 3 weeks before she was walking without a limp, poor baby.

Also, you can try some Hot water soaks with betadine and salt added about twice a day on the affected foot before putting on the copper tox. (It is what my vet recommended when Mama got hoof rot.) It can do wonders for the hoof rot. Just stick her foot right in a bucket of hot water (no hotter than you can put your hand in comfortably) and keep it there for about 10 minutes. She won't like it at first, but she will eventually start to cooperate pretty well. You will have to have her up on the milk stand to do it though.
