Exploring the pasture
I am a 34yrold momma to 3 girls and we homeschool. I am married to one heck of a redneck!!
We also have a small herd of dairy goats that are Nubian, LaMancha and crosses. We are going on 7 years of having goats and cant imagine life with out them!! Lol We also have chickens, rabbits and a couple of dogs.
The last year we ahve spent managing a farm that had cows, goats, hair sheep, hogs, chickens, ducks, geeses and rabbits. After a year we have decided its not for us. Long story short.
SO we are moving in the next week. We have found us a place we will eventually owner finance and it has room for the animals we want. Its in a neighboring town to where we live now and has less than 700 people.
We drink the goats milk and I occasionally have time to make vinegar cheese. I havent had time for more than that lately. Hoping to try more later. We raise a couple of wethers a year for adding meat to our freezer.
My girls also show in 4H. Last year was the first year and we had so much fun.
