Hello, and welcome! I'm in eastern NC, raise bantam chickens, and have goats on my wish list. My knowledge of horses is limited to years of following thoroughbred racing, so someone else will have to help you with practical knowledge.

Welcome to the forum from East Texas. I’ve had horses, don’t have one now. Last one I had was a crazy idiot to the point I wouldn’t let my granddaughters in with her. So I finally sold her. She was a palomino Missouri Foxtrotter. My favorite is Tennessee Walker.
