Hi from UP of Michigan (Yooper)

Hi all, my name is Lori Perry. I live in Iron River Michigan, that's in the UP of Michigan near the Wisconsin border. I operate Pairadice Border Collies and Sheep were I raise both wool(CVM, Corriedale, Border Leicester, Romney, Lincoln) and hair (Katahdin, Dorper, Barbado) sheep. My woolies are for hand spinning/meat/herding, and my hair sheep are for meat/herding. I raise and train Border Collies for sheep work and I compete in USBCHA sanctioned sheepdog trials. I am a handspinner/knitter and I have a varied flock of chickens. Would love to meet other Yoopers!!

Yooper = from the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. Us from the lower (mitten) peninsula, are referred to as...trolls, because we are from "under the bridge" (Mackinaw Bridge). Lol.

Have 1 each of Romney, CVM/Romney, Corriedale(ram), CVM(ram), Jacob, Lincoln, Corriedale/Lincoln, CVM/Suffolk/Jacob, and 4 Border Leicester. plus a number of Katahdin & Dorper. Wouldn't mind trading the Jacob for a Romney or Corriedale. Cna't wait to see what I get for lambs due in a couple weeks.

Beautiful though we drove through there on our way to Wyoming (we went the long way).
