:frow Welcome to BYH!!!! Once you have more posts, you can post a few pics and that will help determine how pregnant they are. Mine have looked ready now for close to a month and big udders...and still waiting...sigh.

Welcome! Is this your sheep's first pregnancy? How old is she? Do you know for sure what dates she was with the ram? I think ultrasound is the only way to tell for sure (other than signs like getting an udder), if there's another way I'm sure someone will chime in.

When I got my first sheep last spring, they were both pregnant. The seller said because they were first-timers, they wouldn't bag up until a few days before giving birth. She didn't tell the sheep though - Gracie was bagged up for a full three weeks before lambing! lol

Good luck with yours - have you had lambs before? Do you have the number of a vet in case there is a problem?

When I bought Patience she already had twins with her it she had also been running with a ram so we think she got back into lamb sometime between 15 august and 25 September, but not sure she is just a lot fatter then my other two girls who have not been with a ram, and she is starting to look uncomfortable when she walks. I am just impatient and want to see the babies

If I counted the days right, she could lamb as late as February 16 - and yes I know that seems like forever when you're waiting!

Have you felt her to determine her body condition score? That might tell you if she is indeed getting too fat, whether she's pregnant or not. From what I've read, you don't want a pregnant sheep to get too fat. You may have to google 'sheep body condition score' on how to do it, I don't remember which site I found it on.
