Hi I'm new on backyardherds. I come from backyardchickens and theeasygarden! I have 2 german shepherds, 1 cat and 17 chicks in the brooder. This is my first time with chickens and I have 10 orpingtons pullets, 5 brahma pullets and 1 brahma roo. 
I also ride horses but I don't own any...yet! I've been riding for almost 5 years and I love it! I do jump 3'9 and show...but currently I'm training and schooling new/young horses at my friend's farm. My favorite thing to do is ride bareback, jump and trail ride!
I came to backyardherds because I really want to get a rabbit and I have lots of questions! People are going to think I'm crazy getting a rabbit since I just got 17 chicks. But once the chicks are out in the coop I am planning on getting a rabbit. I don't think thats crazy! LOL I
Just have to research some more, do some planning and save the money up! I have some rabbit experience because I had friends that have rabbits. I want to get a mini lop...just as a pet not a show rabbit. It sounds like rabbits aren't to exspensive. Are they? I am planning on building a hutch and keeping it in the barn not the house. Well I'm sure I'll be asking a lot of questions on here! Thanks!
