Just purchased 2.25 acres. And we’re starting a hobby farm!! We’ve raised backyard hens in the past (in Maryland) now we’ve moved to GEORGIA. We’re wanting to raise kunukune pig (about 3) a couple of hens (about 6) and a couple of goats (maybe 3) we will dedicate about an acre to animals and a small vegetable garden. We’re looking for any advice and suggestions! 🥰☺️

Howdy and welcome!

Not sure how fast your grass grows in Georgia... but 1 acre might not be enough for 3 goats and 3 pigs... it will probably be turned into dirt.

A flock of 5 geese would keep the grass down, but you would still have grass.

Whichever way you jump, it will be a great adventure!
