Hi, I'm Sunshine (SummerStorm93). I don't currently have any livestock, but we used to keep Rhode Island Red chickens, Jacob sheep and Pygmy goats. My adorable Pygmy Chocolate Sundae won first prize at the fair the year I entered her... Because she was the only goat in her class in the county... We lived in a small town on an island.
I hope to obtain Angora goats and rabbits to feed my fiber addiction within the next five years or so. We live in NC these days, though, so it might be awhile before I figure out how to keep them cool enough to risk the purchase. As of today, my phone says the projected temperature range is 70F-90F, with stupid-high humidity. It's the humidity that's the difficulty, really...

Just because you don't have any at the moment is no issue at all... You're STILL welcome to be here! There's a wealth of info, knowledge and experience shared in the multitude of threads. Browse around and see what interesting stuff you can find. By all means post away when the desire strikes you, especially if you have questions (provide as much detail/info as possible and pictures truly help)... With all the great folks here, generally someone will respond in no time at all. Please make yourself at home!
will never remember from your 1st post & look there first. To add it, mouse hover over Account top right and a drop down will appear. Click on Personal Details and scan down. You'll see the spot for Location. Then go to the bottom and save changes. Thanks! Hope you enjoy the site!
