Hi I just joined I live in Cortez, Colorado. I have 2 horses although one of the horses Brit I’m just barrowing from a friend so Annie isn’t alone while I look for another horse to buy. 9 ducks, 12 chickens, 2 cats and 2 dogs and a snake. Glad to be here.

Welcome from Texas. We have 3 horses, 5 dogs, 83 Cornish Cross meat chicks, 8 black sex link chicks and 9 red sex link laying hens. We have 12 ewes, but are selling 6 this weekend. 20 lambs, keeping 7 of the ewe lambs, the rest will grow a little then go to auction. We’ll be sorting and weaning soon. We have 1 ram, Ringo, he is my sweetheart.

Annie is Anglo-Arabian, don’t know what breed Brit is. The older chickens are Australorps, a White Leghorn. The ducks can’t remember what all of them are 3 are Runner ducks. The new chicks I got a couple weeks ago are 2 Easter Eggers, 2 Barred Rocks and 2 Rhode Island Reds. Cortez isn’t very high but not on the plains. The mountains still have snow at the house it’s all melted.

Annie I ride Brit isn’t trained to ride the friend that I’m borrowing her from just got her to be a broodmare.
