I figured it was time to start a kidding thread for our first doe due this year. We only have two does, but our other one is due 4-24-13

Felicity is due next Monday, but I think (hope) she will go sooner. She has white goo today and her udder is filling. It's not huge yet and she still has her ligaments, though they are quite deep.

Here is our doe, Felicity:

I'm assuming that you are referring to Felicity. ?? She is our doe due next Monday. Our other doe has no udder development yet (due in April) and has been confirmed via blood test to be pregnant.

Here is Felicity's udder:

He was intended for our other doe (in the background of the first pic), but bred Felicity in the first 30 seconds he was in with them. She had absolutely no signs of being in heat. Then, when our other doe came into heat he totally ignored her. So we ended up breeding her to another buck.

They are intended as milk goats for the family, so we aren't really pairing intentionally. But, Felicity's will be registered. Our other doe is a full ND, but unregistered.
