There is not a whole lot of alfalfa grown in North Carolina.. But, I'm fortunate to have a couple of sources within an hours drive. One of my sources baled his first cut on Saturday. And, it's a pretty good price I think at $10 per bale, for the large square bales. Picked up 10 bales yesterday. Some of my girls two months into lactation and are getting a little thin.
