Wondered if anyone could advise?

We are just finishing off our fencing and about to build permanent houses for our goats and chickens.

With regard to the goats whilst we only have four at the moment, I can see the herd increasing to maybe 15+ in order to keep down all our bush.

What is a good size per goat for space in the house?

I would build the largest building you can afford. Once you have a bunch of goats, and they start having babies, and you are storing feed for all those goats, there is never enough room.

I've never really thought about it in those terms before.... :hu

Like Kimmyh said, build the largest size barn you can afford. Believe me, it is easy to fill up! I already had a 30x40 barn and had a 40x56 barn built and it is already full (well almost).

Thanks everyone, I was already thinking along those lines, and suspected that might be your answers. So here goes.
