How far away do I need to house a buck so the milk wont get a bucky flavor?

If your milking procedures are sanitary and the buck doesn't pee on the does too much.....well, my buck pen shares a fence with the does and during breeding he will be in with them. Never had bucky milk. This will be the second season with the same buck this winter, so this will be new for me....maybe I've been lucky so far.

This is new to me too. I have had my Nigis for years but plan on getting a nubian soon. We are in the process of looking for land and I was trying to figure out fence lines.

Depends on the buck and as previously noted " How good are your milking prep and cleaning procedure?"

We run our bucks with the dairy herd year round without issue.
