I would take a long long long time :th

You may want to look into buying a small bag, you won't have to worry as much about it is it spoils.

It is best to feed a mineral for GOATS. The Ca:p should be at a 2:1 ratio.

I use this mineral and I REALLY like it!

I believe they changed the look of the bag. Even the small bag will last you a very long while! They don't eat much of it.

I don't like blocks because it can ruin their teeth.

Is it safe to say that that bag would last longer than a month?

I would start by offering a small amount daily so they get use to it before putting it out free-choice. Free choice is best for most people but I like introducing it slowly. You don't want them to chow down and get to much to fast and deal with toxicity issues. After they are used to having it you can put it out free choice and they can self regulate. Depending on your region and where your hay comes from they may not eat it for several days/weeks/months

The bag says:
Feeding instructions:
Feed manna pro goat mineral at the rate of 1/4 to 1/2 ounce per goat per day. If goat mineral is offered free choice, daily consumption must be monitered and the location of the mineral feeder managed to obtain the desired 1/4 to 1/2 ounce daily feeding rate. Use manna pro goat mineral as the only source of free choice salt. Provide plenty of fresh, clean water at all times.

Reminder: feed is perishable. Store this product in a cool, dry area away from insects and rodents.

Lets say between the 2 goats they eat 1/2oz daily. One 8lb bag is 128oz's

128 x 2 = 256

So if they eat 1/2oz daily it will last 256 days. :)

Well thank you very much! You just saved me from doing math! And we grow our own hay, it's a mix of alfalfa and brome, and then we have just a grass mix to.
