I'm curious. If you are using your buck to cover more than one doe that you want to deliver around the same date, how many will you have your buck mate in the same day?

Do you limit him to just one per day? Two? Does it even matter?

I've bred the same male twice in a couple hour period (breed them during barn chores)and got kits from both. Never tried more than 2 so don't know for sure.

yeah same here... I've used a buck to breed 2 does in one day and both were good litters but never tried more than that... I think if you have a very active buck you may be able to get 3 breedings but since I let the buck breed 2-3 times then rebreed a few hours later 2-3 times for each doe I don't think many bucks can do more than that...
